Moments are gifts. The gem that comes with it is the gift of chance. Others call it opportunities. However, I’d like to call it the gift of chances and circumstances. Every moment means unknown possibilities. Every dawn means an open door. However, there are questions to be considered. Is it meant for us to pass through it? Or, are we simply the keeper of the key to open it, and let somebody else enters? Are we just the usher that should lead the way for someone else? Or maybe, that door might lead us to a certain destination.Whatever role would be assigned to us, nothing is wasted with the gift of chance. If we are the gatekeeper, we must stir our self to be happy for the one to enter. If we are indeed the usher, it is our responsibility to maintain a pleasant, ambiance for the destined guest to be comfortable. If we are the destined one to enter it; we have to be thankful, appreciate, and value this gift and everything that comes with it. If this would be the case however, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we ought to own the place and we must keep it to our self. I am quite sure that we are there to fulfill something for ours greater good, not solely for ourselves.
We are but travelers, who were assigned to fulfill a certain task; a task that comes with the gift of chance. This means that we are to be assisted at the same time that we are to give assistance. Life is not only for ourselves, but also for the people around us, under the grace and for the glory of god.
