i see improvements on global human rights. it's a favorite tool use by western world. i would not be very optimistic that they will confront china nor japan ... besides slap on the wrist. by the way you did a lot of reading, great reporting. could you improve human rights awareness in the philippines. that would be awesome.tnx

Hi Jon, :-) "It’s like trying to dig a deep pit in the sand. The harder you work, the less solid the land." - Very true. In my case, it's a test of one's faith and courage- when 'the uncertain" forces are most overwhelming- for me, it's also a sign- that I need to, and I must keep on going- because the journey itself would […]

Thank you JD. It isn’t easy to write when I wasn’t able to do it for a time. AM glad you liked it. I have been away for quite some time. I’ll come over to MW when I feel a lot more better. Missed the witty conversations in there,
Leofina..missed you very much darling. What is happening?
The sky bow down to witness
A whispered vow; a spiel
The epitaph of sunshine
Precious life’s torn pages. Beautiful craft. fantastic imagination …Very good… well written… u are a darling! kunjubi
very nice poem leofina jane. Allow me to comment on the blogcomment of the gentleman before me.
Dear Kunjubi,
In our culture (the ilocano, which Leofina Jane Galleta belongs to), women are very conservative. Usage of endearments like darling, sweetheart, or the likes is taboo when a man and a woman aren’t in a romantic relationship.
Pardon me for saying this, but if you aren’t the lady’s boyfriend or husband, please refrain from using such words when you talk to her. It might have a negative effect on her reputation in the eyes of our fellow Ilocanos. I hope you won’t find this offensive.
My concern for Ms. Galleta’s reputation is enormous. She is a gem, and needs to be taken care of, her reputation in particular. I hope you’ll consider this as a cultural exchange of information.
