What’s in a profile of a blog? Should it be about the blog, or should it be about the blogger? Safe assumption would be, ‘ a combination of both’; but a response such as that wouldn’t really lead to a anything of significance.

Having said that, and after a few minutes of weighing ‘which is which’, I think highlighting the blog (its purpose and content) is much more important than featuring the blogger more (am not keen re: self-promotion of any kind – that’s my bias really). Basically, this blog will contain op-ed/social commentary features re: news and current affairs and social issues, reflective/philosophical essays, etc.

You don’t need to know about where I’ve been, or the people I’ve been with. I don’t have to explicitly/elaborately state personal matters here that I’d find too personal to publicize – although I might make some exceptions from time to time. I’d rather let my mind speak here- My physical appearance, vital statistics and personal activities are not the “public” facets of my being – my mind is. I’d rather share things that I’ve found interesting and relevant- things that might trigger something in you so you could become more aware about meanings and connections re: lives, events, and encounters that exist and unfold around you. As for me, I know some things- but I don’t know a lot of things. Thus, I am a “work in progress”.

The wisdom that I live by….

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch you Actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.”

“LIFE, for me, is not a mountain to climb; I treat it more like an ocean whereby it would be possible for me to cause influential ‘ripples’ yielding positive effects in another person’s life.” ~ Leofina Jane G. Galleta

  6. I’m writing to make you understand what a awesome experience my cousin’s princess had reading your web page. She picked up a lot of things, which include what it is like to have an excellent teaching nature to let the others easily completely grasp some specialized subject areas. You undoubtedly exceeded my expectations. Thank you for churning out those warm and helpful, trusted, revealing and as well as unique thoughts on the topic to Janet.
